Galgotias University Records 5,500 Placements Across 1,250 Recruiters, Strengthening Industry Trust in Career-Ready Graduates
Galgotias University celebrated a landmark achievement with more than 5,500 placements secured through over 1,250 recruiters during the 2026 placement season. With top packages reaching INR 60 lakh per annum and strong hiring by leading companies, the institution continues to strengthen its reputation through industry partnerships, academic excellence and global recognition.
Major recruiters made significant hiring commitments during the placement cycle. Infosys recruited 526 students, Capgemini hired 228, Cognizant selected 205, City Union Bank Ltd. recruited 188, LTM hired 119, Accenture selected 91 candidates and EY extended offers to 61 students, demonstrating broad placement opportunities across multiple disciplines.
The placement season witnessed several remarkable milestones. The highest salary package offered stood at INR 60 lakh per annum, while the highest internship opportunity carried a monthly stipend of INR 1.25 lakh. A large number of students secured offers ranging from INR 15 lakh to INR 26.6 lakh per annum from leading national and international organisations. More than 80 Dream Offers were recorded across the Big Four firms, with students securing placements at Deloitte, EY, KPMG and PwC.
The University also recognised the contribution of student coordinators whose leadership and commitment played a crucial role in developing a transparent, efficient and student-focused placement process. Working closely with recruiters, the Corporate Resource Centre and fellow students, they helped create a system capable of delivering placements on a large scale.
Speaking on the occasion, Dr. Dhruv Galgotia, Chief Executive Officer of Galgotias University, said that achieving 5,500 placements in a single year demonstrated that the institution's curriculum was designed with active industry participation. He stated that the confidence shown by leading employers reflected the strength of industry partnerships, practical learning methods and the University's commitment to producing graduates capable of contributing from the first day of employment. He added that the continued trust of recruiters served as the strongest validation of this approach.
The University's placement performance is supported by a deeply integrated industry ecosystem. Nearly 20 Centres of Excellence and learning centres have been established in collaboration with leading companies including Apple, Infosys, Intel, Cisco, Tata Technologies, L&T EduTech, Capgemini, Salesforce and IBM. These centres provide hands-on training, access to emerging technologies, industry-certified learning pathways and direct interaction with professionals, narrowing the gap between academic education and professional requirements.
Strong placement outcomes have been accompanied by growing national and international recognition. Galgotias University has appeared in the QS World University Rankings for three consecutive years and currently holds the 16th position among private universities in India, the 46th position overall and the third position among private universities in Uttar Pradesh. These rankings reflect the institution's academic reputation, research ecosystem, industry engagement and commitment to student success.
Recruitment activities for the 2026-27 batch have already commenced, with early placements secured from Deloitte, EY and KPMG. The University is also expanding partnerships with emerging technology firms to support students pursuing careers in artificial intelligence, financial technology and sustainability sectors.
